Egg Farmers of Canada, national sponsor of the Postmedia Canspell program, provides funding for the Canspell Education Awards. The top speller in each of 21 regional spelling bees receives a $5,000 Canspell Education Award. The winner of the Postmedia Canspell National Final in Toronto receives a $7,500 Canspell Education Award; the second and third place spellers receive $5,000 and $2,500 respectively.
