The contest runs from August 30th to Sept 24th, 2010 Entries must be postmarked by October 1st, 2010 and received by October 12, 2010. Full official rules and regulations are printed below:


OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES "Win FREE Groceries with EGGS!"

1. CONTEST PERIOD:
The Contest starts approximately on August 30, 2010 at 12:00:00 AM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) and ends on September 24, 2010 at 11:59:59 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) (the "Contest Period"). Requests and entries must be postmarked by October 1, 2010 and received by October 8, 2010 - 11:59:59 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) at which time no further entries/requests will be accepted. The contest is sponsored by the Egg Producers of Prince Edward Island, the New Brunswick Egg Producers and the Nova Scotia Egg Producers (the "Sponsors").

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
To enter the contest visit the egg section of participating retail stores to obtain your Official Mail-In Entry Form, or visit www.nbegg.ca, www.nsegg.ca or www.eggspei.ca to download a printable version. By participating in the Win FREE Groceries with EGGS contest you agree to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations. For every Official Mail-In Entry Form received along with two (2) egg carton UPCs and original cash register receipt(s), you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest draw for a chance to win a $200 grocery gift card.

Step 1:
Collect two (2) original UPC codes from eligible egg cartons along with your original cash register receipt(s) with the egg purchases circled, for one (1) entry into the Contest draw for a chance to win a $200 grocery gift card.

Step 2:
Complete the Official Mail-In Entry Form with your first name, last name, full address, telephone number and e-mail address. If you would like to receive future communications from www.eggs.ca, please check off the box that says:

"Yes, I would like to receive future communications from eggs.ca." Future communications from eggs.ca include, and are not limited to, e-recipes and information about future contests and promotions.

Step 3:
Mail the completed entry form along with the two (2) original UPC codes and the original cash register receipt(s) with your corresponding egg purchases circled to:

Requests must be forwarded in an envelope with sufficient postage. Limit of one (1) Contest entry per mail-in order form including UPCs and corresponding receipt(s). The Sponsors accept no responsibility for any error, omission or postal service disruption that delays receipt of entries.

3. PARTICIPATING PRODUCTS:
Participating products include shell egg products only. The (two) 2 UPC symbols must be from eggs purchased in carton sizes of 12 eggs or more. UPCs from any brand or type of shell eggs will be accepted. Liquid egg products are excluded.

4. ELIGIBILITY:
The contest is open to residents of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia who are at least 19 years old on October 5, 2010 and to residents of Prince Edward Island who are at least 18 years old on October 5, 2010.

Employees and immediate family and household members of employees of the Sponsors, their directors, board members, officers, members, agents, professional advisors, promotional and marketing agencies as well as their employees are not eligible to participate in this contest. "Immediate family and household members" means spouse, domestic or common-law partner, child, sibling or sibling-in-law and parent or parent-in-law.

5. RANDOM DRAW:
Entries received by 11:59 p.m. on October 8, 2010 with a postmark no later than October 1, 2010 will be separated by province and a random draw will be held at approximately 1:00 p.m. AST on October 12, 2010 at Charlottetown, PEI. (Four) 4 eligible entries from each of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island will be drawn (12 in total). Once an entry is drawn, it is ineligible for other draws. One prize per household.

6. PRIZES:
There are 12 grocery gift cards available to be won, each with a value of $200.00. (One) 1 card will be awarded to (four) 4 eligible entrants from each of Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Winners must accept the prize as awarded. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The total value of prizes is $2,400.00

No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsors for any postal mail or overnight delivery returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address. No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsors for the Prizes after they have been shipped. Winners bear all risk of loss or damages to Prizes after delivery. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall the Sponsors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of or inability to use any of the Prizes or out of any of breach of any warranty. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions of any kind, except by the Sponsors (as defined herein), who reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in cash or otherwise if any Prize cannot be awarded as contemplated in these Official Rules.

Potential winners will be required to answer a time-limited, mathematical, skill testing question. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received per province. Winners will be contacted by telephone. By entering the contest, declared winners consent to the use of their name and photograph for publicity, promotion or advertising purposes, in all media and formats without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity and will be required to sign a publicity release form.

The 'Sponsors' decisions as to all matters related to the administration of this contest and selection of winners are final. Entrants selected must abide with the terms and conditions set forth in these rules.

This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Contests are void where prohibited by law. By entering the Contest, the entrant agrees to abide by all of these Official Contest Rules. Please do not proceed if you are not a legal resident of Canada at the time of entry.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY CONTEST ENTRY:
To enter without purchase you must compose an original essay of up to one hundred (100) words explaining how you like to eat eggs. Include with your essay your first name, last name, address, city, province, postal code and telephone number and mail it in an envelope with sufficient postage to: Win FREE Groceries with EGGS, c/o Egg Producers of PEI, 420 University Ave, Suite 204, Charlottetown, PEI C1A 7Z5. Limit one (1) entry per postage-stamped envelope per household, per week. Requests must be postmarked by October 1, 2010 and received by October 8, 2010. The Sponsors will not be responsible for lost, misdirected, stolen, illegible or late requests, or for postage due.
